Hello!
We're Luke & Nicole, and we're preparing to serve overseas with Wycliffe Bible Translators. We both separately received God's call to international kingdom work in our early twenties, and we are now stepping out on that journey! We are keen to work in areas where we can be a part of taking the gospel to unreached people groups.
Our Story
We have been passionate about Bible translation and supporters of Wycliffe for many years. We love to hear the stories of changed lives and communities who come to read the Bible in their own language for the first time, and we are excited about the idea of being involved in such critical and strategic work in taking the gospel to all nations and preparing the way for Jesus' return. We are both passionate about sharing the gospel cross-culturally, the power of Scripture in discipleship and the kingdom, and in God’s promise to bring all nations to Himself through His church.
Luke has a background in engineering, operations and project management, and Nicole has a background in emergency medicine and international conflict. We feel called to use our skills and resources in this endeavour, and believe that Wycliffe’s kingdom work is absolutely crucial.
Our first posting will be in Francophone Africa - a complex region that has a large number of people groups without access to the Bible in their own language, and many who have never heard the message of Jesus. There is also a need to support local Christians who are often persecuted, and some areas suffer from instability and conflict. Luke is looking to take an operational/programme management role to support the significant amount of work needed in language development, translation and scripture engagement in this region. Nicole will look to take a role in the humanitarian sector. Due to regional instabilities, our first country posting is going to be determined whilst we are doing language learning, closer to when we would go.
In preparation for this, we are needing to undertake French language study in France. We will be doing a 12-month course, starting Autumn 2025, to gain French at a professional level of proficiency so that we can work efficiently with the team from the time we arrive.
Support & Joining In
We’re in need of a variety of kinds of support to get us started and keep us going - your friendship, prayer, giving, and practical support. But support isn’t just about helping us out, it’s more about joining in with what we’re doing. It’s enabling you to be a part of what God is doing elsewhere in the world, giving you a stake in it, and a share in the reward.

Our financial needs in this first year are more considerable due to the language school fees and living costs in a European city. Would you consider supporting us financially for this year to help kick-start our journey?
